Okay so you plug in your fireplace blower fan, hook up the thermostat, turn on the switch and nothing. If your fireplace blower fan doesn't run as soon as you hook up your blower don't worry. The blower fan won't turn on right away as the temperature sensor needs heat to turn on the blower. Once the fireplace is turned on and reaches a certain temperature it will automatically turn on the blower. The amount of time needed to heat up the sensor will depend on the model of your fireplace, could range between 20 – 30 mins on an average. So if everything is connected properly the blower should turn on.
