This blower fit perfectly in my Heat&Glo SL-550TR-D fireplace. The magnetic feet make for a very easy and secure installation. All the parts bolted to the factory locations including the thermostat and the speed control. Using a high wattage dimmer switch to have more control over the blower speed at the wall switch. The wiring diagram was a little difficult to see but I eventually figured it out. The blower is fairly quiet on lower to medium-high speed but is too loud at full speed, hence the dimmer switch to get a perfect combination of air flow and quietness.
